Friendship is a priceless gift that cannot be bought or sold.  But it's value is far greater than a mountain made of gold--For gold is cold and lifeless.  It can neither see nor hear.  And in the time of trouble it is powerless to cheer--It has no ears to listen.  No heart to understand.  It cannot bring you comfort, or reach out a helping hand--So when you ask God for a gift, be thankful if he sends not diamonds, pearls or riches.  But the love of real true friends.

Our next break will be in the
Wheat fields of Kansas (Wichita),
 October 7th and 8th, 2000

Watch for us in August at the Break in Kansas City, Kansas!  We have been asked to help these folks out with their break!

These are pictures of the 1999 function in Lubbock, Texas

Held on October 15 and 16th 1999

Before the actual competition took place, there was a meeting with the Mayor of Lubbock, Texas.  He met with us all right behind this waterfall.  We all gathered around and he welcomed all of these wonderful, nice people to his town.  He presented Midnight Train with the honor of being recognized as an Honorary Citizen of the City of Lubbock Texas.  It was a real treat to be recognized  as a group by the Mayor of the town we were competing in.  I will be posting a copy of the official letter of recognition as soon as I can get a copy of it.   Check back again in a week or so and I will have the official letter here for you to see.

Now Let the Competition begin!

The Watergate was about 15 miles behind this waterfall.  this is what the competitors used as a navigation point to aim for the Watergate.

This record man!  Keeps track of who's up and who's keyed.

Winners:

2 pill Cracker Jack

4 pill Cracker Jack

8 pill Lady One Shot & Lady McNasty  TIE!

12 pill Shaggy Dog

16 pill Lady One Shot & Spoiled Brat  TIE!

24 pill 222

There was some stiff competition this time.  It was hard for the Watergate to hear the winners!  This is the closest competition I have seen yet.

Discussing the last key.

Saturday Night Dinner and Party

Dancing and Socializing

Splitting the Pot is a good thing!!

In the end this was one of the best functions I have ever attended.  Everyone had a good time and there were a lot of happy people here.  Again I was amazed by how well the group got along.  With all the hate and discontent in this world, it sure is nice to go to a function where there is such a wide variety of race, creed, color, and religion, and we

ALL JUST GOT ALONG!!!!!

I can't wait till the next function!

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!!
